Racetracks around the world are seeing a new generation of riders rise up. Leading the pack is a talented young rider from Christchurch, New Zealand.

Caleb Gilmore has been racing for less than two years but is already making his mark, competing hard against much older and more experienced riders. His New Zealand success led to racing opportunities in Australia and an invitation to contest a round of the German IDM Supersport 300 Championship in Assen, Holland in 2019 and a ride with the Metcher Motorsports team in Australia.

Caleb's achievements include:

  • 2019 NZ Superbikes (SBK): 6th overall, without competing in the South Island legs. 2nd place at Manfeild, 3rd place at Taupo.
  • 2019 Victoria MC Winter Series: 3rd overall despite missing one round of five. Achieved 2 wins, a 2nd and a 3rd placing.
  • 2019 IDM Supersport 300 (Assen, Holland): 23rd place for this round.
  • 2019 Kawasaki Cup: 3rd overall.
  • 2019 Australian Superbikes (ASBK) Sydney round: 12th overall in 300 Supersport, and 9th overall in Yamaha R3 cup.
  • 2019/20 Suzuki Series Gixxer 150 cup: 2nd overall in championship.
  • Currently sitting 2nd in the 2019/20 NZ 300 Supersport national championship.
  • Currently sitting 4th in the 2020 Australian 300 Supersport national championship.

What the racing world is saying about Caleb:

  • "Caleb is an ambitious young rider with the raw talent and speed to make it at the highest level. Not only is he fast on the bike but he has the focus and drive to put in the work off the track to better himself. It is a pleasure and a privilege to work with Caleb."

    - Connor London
Owner/Manager of CL Racing Team. First New Zealander to race in the World Supersport championship.

  • "I have been watching Caleb for a couple years now since he came into the racing scene in the Gixxer 150 cup. I was straight away very impressed with not only his talent and speed but his approach he has to the sport. Caleb has proven himself in only a couple years against a lot of older and more experienced racers and has had very good results in Australia where the competition is to a even higher level."

    - Daniel Mettam
2016 NZSBK Supersport champion. 2019 NZSBK Superbike champion.

  • "Caleb is NZ road racing's rising star. He has the potential to race amongst the best on the world stage and prove that kiwis can fly."

    - Avalon Biddle
First woman to win the NZSBK Supersport 600 championship.

  • "We have some great young talent coming through the New Zealand ranks but for me, Caleb stands out from the crowd. His results speak for themselves but his attitude and personality is what really impressed me. He is honest, confident, well spoken and polite. Caleb is the full package and has a bright future."

    - Sloan Frost
7x National Champion, 2x NZ Superbike Champion.
